About the Saudi Nursing Licensure Exam (SNLE)
Format
The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) licensing exam for registered nurses is a computer-based multiple-choice test delivered by Prometric. Candidate guides describe about 150 questions in 180 minutes. There is no negative marking, so answer every question.
What it covers
General registered-nurse knowledge: fundamentals and safety, infection control, medical-surgical nursing by body system, emergency care, pharmacology and dosage calculation, maternal and newborn, paediatrics, mental health, and leadership, ethics and prioritisation.
How to use this bank
Practise by topic first and read every rationale, especially for the ones you get right by guessing. Then take full timed mock tests. Aim to score well above the pass mark consistently before your exam date.
Questions and answers
Are these official SNLE or Prometric questions?
No. They are original practice questions written in a similar style. This site is not affiliated with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), Prometric or any government body.
Who wrote the questions?
The questions were written and then checked a second time by AI (Claude, made by Anthropic), using standard nursing textbooks and international guidelines as references. They have not yet been reviewed by a licensed nurse, so mistakes are possible. Every question has a "Report a problem" link – please use it and we'll correct it quickly.

Is the same bank used for other Gulf exams?
Yes. The nursing knowledge tested across the Gulf is largely the same, so the bank is shared. Each exam page uses its own mock-test length, timer and pass mark.
